Robin Hooge RDN

Robin Hooge is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado. She completed her post-graduate internship through the University of Nevada Reno. Robin joined the Essential Nutrition team of Dietitians in 2017. She is also employed as a Clinical Dietitian at Boulder Community Health.

Robin is passionate about helping others achieve their dietary goals. Robin has a personal and professional lifelong passion for health and wellness. She has practiced and continues to practice as a Clinical Dietitian in a variety of settings from acute Intensive Care Units to long-term Geriatric and Rehabilitation. Robin has worked in Sports Medicine settings assisting professional and amateur athletes as well as a Nutrition Educator for Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters.

 

Rather than a cookie cutter approach to her dietary practice, Robin understands the unique makeup and individual challenges of her clients. She believes in employing both the best evidenced based scientific and holistic approaches to construct an individualized dietary plan that compliments the unique needs and personalities of her clients. Robin is available for one-on-one consultations, group outings, and presentations.

I receive so much personal satisfaction in seeing the happiness from my clients that comes with feeling better, and understanding, attaining, and maintaining a healthy mind body dietary balance. I reject a “one size fits all” formula. My approach is specific to each individual’s needs.
