Jane Reagan MED, RDN, CEDRD, CLT

Jane Reagan’s experience in the fields of nutrition and counseling spans 25 years. She believes in a holistic approach to nutrition and wellness. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from the University of Arizona and a Masters of Education degree in Counseling from Boston University. She became a Registered Dietitian through the University of Northern Colorado. She is a CEDRD (Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian), holds a certification in Adult Weight Management and is a Certified LEAP Therapist for food sensitivities. She regularly studies functional medicine and applies this philosophy to nutrition interventions. She is currently getting a FNLP (Functional Nutrition Lifestyle Practitioner) certification.

Full Bio

Jane is a strong believer in functional nutrition and getting to the root of a person’s health issues. In her 20’s she came down with debilitating flu like symptoms that stayed with her for many years. Her motivation to understand her own health issues resulted in an insatiable desire to expand her nutrition knowledge. She sought out many alternative practices and learned a whole body approach to true wellness. Jane believes in treating the whole person by meeting them they’re at, and providing guidance through nutrition, supplementation, testing, counseling and lifestyle strategies.


She believes in a “food first” philosophy. She also believes that food has the power to heal, and that understanding food quality, food choices and one’s relationship with food, can lead to greater awareness, improved health and a more abundant life. She regularly helps individuals to understand how food impacts them physically, mentally and emotionally.


Jane started her work in nutrition and wellness at Canyon Ranch Health Resort in Tucson, AZ, followed by working at an in-patient eating disorders hospital in Boston. She has contributed significantly to nutrition within the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD). As Nutrition Educator for The GROWE Foundation & Garden to Table Program, she developed and taught a Colorado-based standardized nutrition curriculum for grades K-5. She co-wrote a children’s cookbook, “Cooking is Cool.”

In addition, Jane also works as a Clinical Nutritionist at the University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently a member of their Eating Disorder Team. Jane has been a Boulder resident for over 20 years and has 4 children.
