Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and completed her post-graduate supervised practice internship through the University of Northern Colorado. She also holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology from Colorado State University that gives her a unique perspective on how culture and environment can affect a person’s relationship with food.
Kelly believes eating is more than just calories in vs. calories out. She understands food is so many things – food is family, food is culture, food is fuel. She knows the role of food in every person’s life is different, and therefore every person deserves to be treated as an individual. There is no one size fits all model to nutrition and Kelly is passionate about utilizing real food in a holistic and progressive approach to help people obtain their health and nutrition related goals.
Kelly’s work with clients focuses on client driven goal setting, improving overall relationships with food, making lifestyle changes instead of “dieting”, and helping people understand how to make food choices both mindfully and intuitively. Kelly works at both the Boulder and Denver locations and accepts insurance.
