For many of us, dieting has been framed as restriction—cutting out certain foods to achieve a particular body image. We live in a diet culture that encourages people to spend excessive time, money, and energy chasing unsustainable goals in the name of weight loss or body perfection. Like many, I struggled with the unrealistic standards promoted by media and the widespread misinformation surrounding health and nutrition.
My personal health journey ultimately inspired me to pursue a career helping others understand the true value of food and how it can be used to prevent negative health outcomes. I earned my B.S. in Nutrition Dietetics at Arizona State University, then pursued a career as a personal trainer to deepen my understanding of the connection between nutrition and exercise. For over seven years, I have coached clients at OrangeTheory Fitness, guiding people toward their unique health and fitness goals.
I completed my Dietetic Internship at a hospital in Tyler, Texas with Aramark, and later took graduate-level nutrition courses at the University of Alabama. These experiences reinforced how conflicting nutrition advice and diet culture can lead people into harmful, unsustainable practices. That realization is what drives me to pursue my career as a Registered Dietitian and Health Coach.
My goal is to provide evidence-based nutrition guidance that empowers people to see food not as something to restrict, but as a source of strength, health, and joy. I recognize that every individual is the expert of their own body, and I work collaboratively to create realistic, personalized plans that align with their goals and needs. I approach my clients with curiosity, empathy, and honesty—offering thoughtful, research-backed recommendations to support them in building healthier, happier lives free from the cycle of restrictive dieting.
